J&L Making a Difference — E-commerce
In seventh grade, Jude started an online business, J&L Making a Difference with $1 of his birthday money. His team has successfully grown the business to serve more than 10,000 global customers each year on platforms like Amazon and eBay, with more than $1.4 million dollars in revenue to date.
Jude remains committed to serving his customers no matter what it takes. During the COVID-19 pandemic, government shutdowns, and severe Texas storms, Jude has been able to help his community by providing food and other necessities to those in his community and the communities he serves.
Finally, Jude has become a trusted resource in the e-commerce community. J&L Making a Difference and Jude’s story has been featured in numerous articles, on the eBay homepage, and in investor reports. Jude now works to educate other sellers on best practices and to advocate for seller needs.

Early in the pandemic when people were depending on life saving supplies, Jude was able to get these items to his customers quickly and at a reasonable cost, while donating a portion of the proceeds to food banks across the country.
J&L Making a Difference was featured in eBay’s Seller Spotlight series, which highlights 10 eBay businesses each year. Jude was also awarded 1 of 50 $10k eBay Up and Running Grants.
